Has anyone made interconnects out of Canare's twisted 2-conductor L-2t2s cable ??

This Canare Star Quad L-4e6s of mine sounded fat, rich, and delicious in the midrange but had a rolled off top end.
Their impedance was high enough to be rolling off the top end so I snipped one of the internal conductors to lower the capacitance .. (in a 3ft length)
The result was a nicely extended but not bright treble and an excellent midrange and sound-stage ..
This is a very, very nice sounding cable this way.. .. and esp. for $35 or so .. and way better than the Mogami for my money.
The Star Quad is actually a microphone cable with 4 conductors to reject noise but a high impedance.
Canare recommends their 2-conductor twisted for interconnects and if it sounds like this, I can see why.

The 2-conductor twisted uses the same wire as the Quad but uses 2 internal conductors instead of 4 and has half the impedance of the Star Quad..
I am guessing that the Canare 2-conductor (L-2t2s) should sound just as good as this surgically altered Star Quad, and was wondering if anyone out there has been using it ??
I can find Star Quad interconnects all over, but it's a bit tough finding ready made Canare 2t2s interconnects.
