What are your favorite lubricants?

No, not those kind of lubes. I’m just curious what people’s favorites are, I’m in the process of collecting an assortment of lubricants to use on whatever. Tape mechanisms, turntables, CD player laser carriers, tuning capacitors (where appropriate). Not including the usuals like Deoxit D5, D100, F5, F100, etc. I am curious what the opinions are of Super Lube vs Molykote. The Molykote seems to be more expensive on average, but does it truly lubricate better?

This is my collection thus far.

This inexpensive red grease is good if I’m was dampening or a bit of resistance.

I have these Super Lube greases, one silicone and one synthetic. They’re both grade 2, quite a bit thinner than the red grease. I also have a tube of the synthetic.

These are generic greases, one a thick silicone and the other white lithium.

These are some oils I have. I like the Hoppes, nice needle for getting into tight spaces. The two Super Lube oils are very different thicknesses. The 5000 cSt oil is quite thick, I keep both in small bottles with needle applicators. These small plain bottle to the right is Mobil 1 extended performance full synthetic, 0W-20.

I have a bottle of lithium grease on the way that is grade “00” so it is a semi liquid, much thinner than my other greases. Should be good for the average Dual 1219 and such.

What do you all use, and what do you think about Super Lube vs Molykote? Should I pick up some Molykote in various versions?
